Innovation manager in a company: profession specifics

In the article, main results of the research conducted on the base of iR&D Club in 2014-2015 in order to prepare the project of professional standard «Innovation manager» are described. General features of innovation management as the area of professional activity are shown. Authors explain, on which stage of company development it is necessary to separate special innovation management structures and managers. Basic tasks and job goals of innovation managers in company are shown, hierarchical structure of innovation management in company is described
