Grant system of support of science: the saved-up potential and directions of development
The analysis of grant system of support of basic researches carried out: an assessment of the place and a role of grants in variety of the funding mechanisms for science used in various countries; identification of advantages and restrictions of grant system; definition and justification of the directions of optimum use of opportunities of a grant funding mechanism and identification of reserves of building and diversification of its potential in relation to the developed operating conditions of the Russian scientific and technical complex. Taking into account experience of the state scientific funds in Russia, approach to improvement of an information methodological support of an assessment and selection of scientific projects is offered
