Small Innovative Business in Russian Leading Universities: Condition and Development Factors
The article is based on results of a sociological poll of leading Russian universities’ representatives responsible for development of research and innovative activities on the basis of university innovative infrastructure objects. In May-June, 2012 in total 117 natural sciences, technical and medical universities were surveyed, including 8 federal universities, 28 national research universities, 2 special status universities (Lomonosov Moscow State University and St. Petersburg State University) and 79 other leading universities of Russia with a specified profile. Special attention is paid to opportunities of small innovative business development in universities with their own resources, primarily production and technological facilities and human resources.
