The role of territorial innovation models in defining the strategy of regional development

The real practical experience of measures for innovation process intensification in European and Asian regions is studied regarding theoretical and methodological apparatus of Territorial innovation models (TIMs) being used. The unique key success factors, both of endogenous and exogenous growth of studied regions are identified. The limits of territorial innovation model’s usage are defined. The territorial innovation model’s individualization preserving the ability to use methodological apparatus of one or several TIMs based on the region activity analysis is suggested.
