The processes of occurring on the modern labor market are researched in the paper and the causes of appearance of innovative special form of work organization as freelancing are done. The characteristics of the new non-traditional and non-standard employment in the global labor market are outlined. The characteristics and existing problems of freelancing are analyzed and identified in the article.
