The article is devoted to the topical issue of vocational guidance development, and specifically, development and implementation of methods for vocational-oriented excursions and the cycle of the profile lectures for secondary school students at the Robotics Museum of the Central Research and Development Institute of Robotics and Technical Cybernetics (RTC). In the proposed publication, the author shares his experience in developing methods for conducting vocational-oriented excursions and profile lectures on the basics of robotics at the RTC Museum, highlighting not only the fundamental issues of this science, but also telling how the work on creating a robot begins and what specialists are involved in this work
