The article describes the impact of the pandemic on the world cruise companies and the state of uncertainty of cruise tourism in St. Petersburg. In the light of the current trends, the characteristics of the parameters reflecting the approximate losses of the tourism industry of the northern capital due to the lack of ship calls of cruise ships to the Baltic region are presented.
