Sharing economy: problems and development prospects

We are already witnessing the emergence of a hybrid economy — the sharing economy — that will radical transform way of life of modern society. The sharing economy takes place in organized systems or networks, in which participants conduct sharing activities in the form of renting, lending, trading, bartering, donation and swapping of different physical and non-material resources. The purpose of this article is to gain a deeper understanding of possible advantages of the sharing economy, drivers of its development, incentives for being involved in the platforms and practices of the sharing economy, and the problem of the regulation of sharing practices
