The role of the intellectual component in the innovative development of coal-mining region

The article is devoted to research of the intellectual property value in the economy development of promising coal-mining regions of Russia. The article notes the need of coal-mining regions in the development of small innovative enterprises focused on the development of technologies for the extraction, transportation and processing of mineral resources. Analysis of statistical data and organizational and legal aspects of the activities of small innovative enterprises revealed a group of existing innovative enterprises and the relevance of their intellectual assets for the coal mining industry of the regions
