In this article are discussed the results of a study of involving countries, which have signed an agreement with the European Union on scientific and technological cooperation in the framework of the European Programme for Competitiveness and Innovation under Article 21.5 (Argentina (AR), Australia (AU), Brazil (BR), Canada (CA), Chile (CL), China (CN), Egypt (EG), India (IN), Japan (JP), Jordan (JO), Mexico (MX), Morocco (MA), New Zealand (NZ), Russia (RU), South Africa (ZA), South Korea (KR), Tunisia (TN), Ukraine (UA), United States (US)), which have signed an agreement on scientific and technological cooperation with the European Union in the field of Seventh Framework Programme of the EU participation with the aim to support innovation and knowledge, and the results of EU and associated countries participation as well, in the period from 2007 to 2012.
