Impact of the COVID pandemic on the development of the digital economy

The global economic system as a whole and the economies of most countries of the world have experienced the shock impact of the corvette pandemic. To assess this impact, a model is presented that allows us to analyze the dynamics of the spread of COVID‑19 and identify its impact on the traditional and digital sectors of the economy. The simulation results are presented for time series based on data from the covid pandemic in China. The results show a negative correlation between crisis factors and economic growth in general, and a positive correlation between crisis factors and the growth of the digital economy. This allows us to draw a fundamental conclusion about the negative effects of the covid pandemic on economic growth in traditional industries, but also about the positive impact of the covid crisis on the development of digital economy sectors
