An approach to plan areas of scientific research and technological developments demanded for implementation of import substitution in civil branches of industry

The paper describes a methodological approach to plan areas of scientific research and technological developments demanded for implementation of imports substitution in the Russian Federation civil branches of industry. The proposed approach allowed to determine the highly demanded technology areas for efficient implementation of the national imports substitution policy, as well as R&D areas that would provide support to the development of determined technology areas. A roadmap of key technologies needed to substitute imports to the Russian Federation civil industries and a roadmap of R&D key importance areas to develop imports substituting technologies have been elaborated
