Российские компании стремятся повысить свою конкурентоспособность в России и за рубежом, используя инновации. Оценка эффективности практик использования инноваций становится одной из наиболее важных задач для российских исследователей в области менеджмента. В условиях недостатка ресурсов компании копируют инновации для повышения своей конкурентоспособности, используя стратегию имитации. В статье приведены результаты исследования практик использования стратегий инноваций и стратегий имитации в российских стартапах – резидентах бизнес-инкубаторов. Выделено 5 кластеров стартапов по типам стратегий. Выделено 2 кластера с типами стратегий имитации, которые показали лучшие результаты, чем кластеры со стратегиями инноваций. Выводы исследования могут быть использованы российскими стартапами для выбора стратегии развития и повышения конкурентоспособности
