Experience in intellectual property management at universities

This article considers the issue of building an intellectual property management system in universities. Despite the difficulties associated with building an effective intellectual property management system, successes have been achieved in improving the competitiveness of products and creating conditions for sustainable innovation and technological development. The analysis of Russian and foreign experience shows that intellectual property management systems in organizations are constantly developing and improving, providing the needs of the authors of the results of intellectual activity, the public sector, business and universities themselves. The article presents examples of successful measures of state support, such as the creation of structures, for example, Technology Transfer Offices and Technology and Innovation Support Centers. The example of technological development ecosystem of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University shows how different structures interact effectively and achieve high results
