Project-based learning as an effective mechanism for preparing engineering personnel

The article deals with the problematic issues of training young specialists for Russian industrial enterprises. An effective, according to the authors, approach to the formation of a system for training engineering and technical workers at the basic departments of industrial enterprises is proposed. The proposed training system is based on national standards governing the conduct of development work, the principle of decomposition of an industrial product into its component parts, practice-oriented and competence-based approaches to the organization of the educational process.
