Development of methods for assessing the region’s innovative potential in the catching-up economy

The present work is devoted to the study of the links between the innovative potential of the regional innovation system and the results of innovation. Factors influencing the state of innovative potential of the region are revealed. In this paper, a comparative analysis of the most common methods for assessing the innovative potential of RIS was carried out. The need for a comparative blitz analysis of RIS innovation potentials in the catching economy is shown and economic indicators of blitz analysis are proposed
