Preconditions and consequences of the militarydriven technological modernization of a national economy

The author considers militarization of national economies as a spontaneous probability of overcoming the contemporary economic problems, related to the ongoing global economic downturn. However, appealing to peculiarities of the modern military technologies, applied in the weaponry production, the author explains the negative macroeconomic consequences, which has been accompanying the militarization of modern economies. The technological restructurization of non- military segments in national economies with its origins in the national regions represents the only one way to overcome the contemporary political and economic problems arising in inside and between nations.
