Commercialization of university intellectual property through the creation of start-ups - the practice ITMO

All over the world, universities are the main source of innovative ideas and the entrepreneurial activity growth driver through the creation of innovative start-ups. However, the practice of creating and developing an innovative field around the university faces a number of problems.The article analyzes the problems of the innovative entrepreneurship development in the university and proposes the tools to overcome them. The effectiveness of the proposed tools is confirmed by the recent years’ experience of University ITMO.
