Magnetic Shields Based on Amorphous Alloys

The paper presents the results of research and development in the field of amorphous magnetic alloys application to create magnetic shields to protect against the static and alternating magnetic fields, performed by author’s team for the last 10 years. It is shown that the magnetic shields made of Co-based amorphous magnetic alloys passed the appropriate heat treatment to increase the source of the magnetic properties can be more efficient than permalloys magnetic shields. The design of the magnetic screen based on amorphous alloy ribbons has been developed and patented. Examples of the practical implementation of the research and development are given.
