Modern educational technologies in assessing the competence of engineering personnel

The article discusses the author’s approach to assessing the competencies of engineering students based on case technology. A methodological apparatus for assessment is proposed, which includes a tested algorithm of actions, criteria-indicators for each stage and level of training, a checklist of criteria-indicators by type of activity, a coefficient of significance — β, taking into account the importance of developing competencies in various fields
