NBIC-Technologies’ Development in the USA
The article explains the role of radical innovations as basis for further consolidation of USA National Innovation System. Importance of State-Private Partnership (SPP) in activating NBIC-innovations (nano-, bio-, new IT and new energy) and their related convergence is being depicted in much detail. Among the most vital, the following directions of government innovation initiatives are analyzed: NBIC-Initiatives, STEM-education and creation of National Network of Innovative Institutions (in bioeconomy and additive manufacturing).
