Improving the quality of IT specialists training through interaction with specialized region’s companies

The purpose of this article is to study the possibilities of improving the quality of training of OT specialists in higher educational institutions through active interaction and involvement of representatives of OT business in the educational process. The structure of forms of interaction between companies and educational institutions is presented. The forms of interaction between representatives of OT companies and educational institutions are studied on the example of the Institute of digital technologies of the Kaliningrad state technical university. Recommendations have been developed on such forms of interaction as the creation of a public council at an educational institution, the joint creation of training courses based on employer enterprises, the active use of educational versions of domestic software, the organization of curatorship and internships for individual students and groups. The necessity and advantages of interaction for both the enterprises of the IT sphere and for educational institutions are substantiated. The results of the study can be used by higher educational institutions in improving the quality of the educational process through the involvement of IT specialists
