Assessment of the quality of enterprise management during Ramp-Up preparation and launch: concept and methodical approach

Current economic conditions are forcing market players to bring new products to consumers rapidly, maintaining the high quality and providing the reasonable price. The new management concept of Ramp-Up Management is designed to meet this request. At the same time, the implementation of this concept in practice, in particular for Russian companies, causes certain challenges. The reason for this, in our opinion, is the fact that the implementation of Ramp-Up is a kind of stress-test for the quality of enterprises’ management. In turn, the quality of enterprise management, being put under pressure, depends on the effectiveness of the internal and external communications’ system, since the density and variety of communications increases during the Ramp-Up period. In this article, we propose a method to assess the quality of enterprise management in the period of Ramp-Up, establishing a set of indicators that allow an assessment in terms of the value chain elements and groups of requirements for the systems of enterprise management

Keywords: ramp-up management; value-chain management; management system effectiveness; enterprise competitiveness; technological re-equipment; internal communications; external communications
