Contemporary organizational models of innovation management

The article focuses on the possibilities of applying the PDCA cycle of continuous improvement in organizing the innovation management system of the contemporary organization. The authors offer several conceptual models of managing innovations in the organization ranging from an isolated innovation management system to innovation management within an integrated management system. In the authors’ opinion, the organizational model of innovation management system depends on the type, size, scope and strategic goals of the organization, and implementation of process management tools and the PDCA cycle contributes to the integration of given system with other management systems of the organization.
