Proposed parameters characterizing the technological development of companies based on patent analysis. Addressed by the proposed parameters of scientific and technological activity of Russian oil and gas companies . The authors presented the rating on the basis of the parameters developed which allows to draw conclusions about the scope of scientific and technological activity and technological strategies of the energy sector.
